K-Tek Klassic K-81CC Boom Pole
The K-Tek Newspole is the only professional boom pole designed specifically to meet the needs of the ENG user.
This five-section pole is only 24" (60cm) long when collapsed. Even with a microphone and windscreen attached, it still measures less than 30" (76cm). The K-81CC is extremely easy to hold, transport on a car seat or store in an equipment case.
Fully extended, the pole expands to 6' 9" (206cm), a good reach for most ENG situation. At this length, and with a microphone added, it can easily be handled in a normal with 8' ceilings and carried though normal-sized household doorways. The Newspole's base section is outfitted with a sturdy foam grip and our new Soft-Touch rubberized dimpled collars that enable easy one-handed operation, even in freezing and wet conditions. The factory wired CC model comes fitted with a high-quality coiled cord inside the pole and a sturdy male XLR receptacle conveniently mounted with abottom exit or a side exit at the base.
