Cascade Audio 'Vive' Surround Sound Microphone
Cascade Audio has introduced the VIVE surround microphone, a unique patented surround sound microphone that produces Dolby Digital 5.1 compatible surround sound recordings on any stereo video camera that has an auxiliary microphone input jack. The VIVE surround microphone mounts easily to camcorders to record in true surround sound in a single step. No external hardware, additional software or "finalizing" steps are required. A remote center channel microphone input is provided for using an additional lapel, hand held or wireless microphone to record dialog directly to the center channel. The VIVE surround microphone is compatible with all Dolby surround sound decoders.
The Vive mounts easily to video cameras to record in surround sound in a single step. Consumers can now take full advantage of their surround speakers for their home movies, with a lifelike, multi-channel listening experience.
