The new COSI from Cinela features an in-built suspension and windshield combo. Designed for indoor / outdoor use, straight out the box!

This windshield features a lightweight suspension suitable for microphones with a 19mm, 20mm and 21mm diameter, depending on which option you pick. The windshield has medium pile length fur and is not removable. It has no other fabric or layer underneath it which provides excellent weight reduction and sound purity.

• The microphone is rigidly fixed to the cage - the isolators are external
• The Cosi addresses both wind protection and suspension problems faced when using microphones with short rear connectors such as CMIT, 8050, 4017C, 4018C etc

As with any microphone suspension or windshield, the COSI requires the use of a good rumble filter (for very low-end handling noise). Typically around the 50-70 Hz area with a +18dB roll-off (3rd order filter).Many microphones are very rich in the low-end (MKH8000 or DPA with C preamp). These mics need a high slope filter for the best results in reducing handling noise.

Available in Three Different Diameters

• COSI-L-19 for 19mm diameter microphones such as the DPA 4017C
• COSI-L-20 for 20mm diameter microphones such as the Schoeps CMC series
• COSI-L-21 for 21mm diameter microphones such as the Schoeps MiniCMIT

• Small - For microphones with a length of 15cm
• Medium - For microphones with a length of 18cm
• Large - For microphones with a length of 21cm

There's also an optional extra for the COSI series for use with a Camera. Conveniently named the Camera Adapter.

Returns & Refunds

New items: You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason, at any time within 30 working days of receipt (14 to initiate the process), for a full refund or for an exchange for a different product from our range. Items must be packed suitably and insured for full loss in the event of a delivery problem. Pinknoise Systems will not be responsible for lost or damaged return goods.
