Delivery Services & Information
At Pinknoise Systems we like to offer our customers a wide choice of delivery options for their orders, and our prices are affordable and competitive. We also use only the best, most reliable couriers and delivery services to get your equipment where it needs to be - quickly and securely. Please find an outline of our services, prices and timescales below.
We use quality couriers and delivery services to send and ship all over the UK and internationally. For our UK customers, we offer our standard 1kg and 5kg services from DHL Express. This is a 1-3 day service and is priced at £2.99 including VAT. There is also a next day express delivery option with timed delivery available (before 10.30am, before 12.00pm, etc.) as well as a standard next day option. Our charge for this is currently £4.99 including VAT.
Courier weight limitations of 30kg per consignment. All EU services are by road unless specifically requested as airmail. All timescales are based on working days, unless saturday delivery is specifically requested, and may be subject to additional fees. Please contact us for help with your order should you need to discuss your delivery options before buying.
The service DHL Express provides is reliable but also gives a notification for a very useful one hour time slot for your delivery. This services gives the customer a much more informative delivery experience. DHL will email and use SMS text to notify you when your package has shipped from our premises. You can also track your order in real time on the DHL web site. We'll need an accurate email address and mobile number for this service to work, so please provide this information at the time of order.
For smaller packages, and for a cheaper delivery option, we use Royal Mail in the UK mainland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, and Northern Ireland. Generally the services are very reliable and we can offer proof of posting for 1st and 2nd class orders, plus "signed for" with £50.00 insurance cover. These services offer very limited tracking information. Royal Mail Special Delivery is a good service, but quite costly, but in some cases it can be a better choice for timed delivery and for guaranteed delivery on a Saturday. This service also offers a good level of insurance for higher value items.

Most of the shipments we make within the EU are with TNT road service. It's quick, reliable, and less costly than an air shipment and is fully trackable, with £150.00 insurance cover against loss and damage. Further insurance values are possible but the typical cost will be 1-2% of the shipment value, so it can be very costly to insure high value items. Cost for EU road shipments are based on a "dead" weight value of the package. The limit is 30kg in weight and 1m in length.
For shipments outside of the EU, we will typically use services from UPS and TNT. Here the shipment cost is calculated on the dimensions and weights of the package. We always ensure that equipment is packed really well for a safe transit to international destinations, so this may increase the size of the consignment being shipped, and therefore the cost. We do always endeavour to provide the most cost effective options for our customers. In most cases the shipping cost is accurate on the site checkout for your chosen destination, however we do reserve the right to contact the customer to notify them of any additional shipping charges that may be incurred. Payment must be made in full via our accepted payment methods for any additional costs before the shipment is sent. Tracking information will be forwarded to the customer.
Delivery times are based on when the packages leaves our premises. Sometimes, due to stock restrictions or a non completed order, delivery may take longer as there is a delay with dispatch. We will always notify customers of any issues and problems via email or telephone. If your order is urgent or details change please do let us know.
On very rare occasions, for whatever reason, there may be an issue with the delivery method you've chosen; an incorrect address, unrecognised postcode, etc. While we will try to work as an intermediary to gather information or expedite the successful delivery of your package, ultimately, the responsibility is not with Pinknoise Systems for the delivery of your package - it is always with the delivery company. Please be aware, we have no leverage with orders getting to where they need to be on time. In the rare instance where there are problems, our chosen courier's level of customer service, information and problem resolution is much better, resulting in a better level of satisfaction and customer experience.
