The 4018A is a highly directional, first-class supercardioid microphone and is a part of the modular DPA d:dicate Recording Microphones series.

With its remarkably well controlled supercardioid shape and uniform off-axis frequency response, the 4018A offers high separation without odd off-axis frequency peaks and dips. The supercardioid shape is frequency independent, securing an identical sound color around the microphone. The usual rear lobe heard on most supercardioids is minimized on the 4018A making it much more isolated.

Designed for a broad range of music recording and broadcast/ENG/film long-distance miking applications, such as booming, dialogue, interview and table or spot-recording use, the 4018A also offers superb expandability through modular accessories. The 4018A is ideal for use as spot or hanging mic for orchestra recording situations.

Returns & Refunds

New items: You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason, at any time within 30 working days of receipt (14 to initiate the process), for a full refund or for an exchange for a different product from our range. Items must be packed suitably and insured for full loss in the event of a delivery problem. Pinknoise Systems will not be responsible for lost or damaged return goods.
