Rycote Super-Softie Windshield 5cm/12cm/15cm/18cm

Slip-on Windshield with the new 3D-Tex material and open-cell foam suitable for shotgun microphones, with slots ranging from 5cm, 12cm, 15cm and 18cm with a diameter of 19-22mm and a 5cm and 18cm with a diameter of 24-25mm.

Description:

The Super-Softie® retains the excellent wind noise reduction of a conventional cavity windshield but allies it to a novel aerodynamic shape and surface structure, and to a new material - 3D-Tex™ - which combines excellent acoustic transparency with superb attenuation of wind noise. It has no rigid internal structure, so causes virtually no polar pattern distortion and is extremely robust in challenging environments such as news-gathering.

If it becomes rain-soaked it can be squeezed out and shaken dry very quickly; if it becomes coated with dust it can be rinsed quickly without affecting its performance.
The shape & structure of the Super Softie® allow it to reduce wind noise at extreme LF and infrasonic frequencies - where the greatest wind energy lies - more efficiently than previous designs.

Delivery Times

Delivery times are based on when the packages leaves our premises. Sometimes, due to stock restrictions or a non completed order, delivery may take longer as there is a delay with dispatch. We will always notify customers of any issues and problems via email or telephone. If your order is urgent or details change please do let us know.

Returns & Refunds

New items: You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason, at any time within 7 working days of receipt, for a full refund or for an exchange for a different product from our range. The cost of returning goods to us shall be borne by you, the customer, in all circumstances without exception.

Items must be packed suitably and insured for full loss in the event of a delivery problem. Pinknoise Systems will not be responsible for lost or damaged return goods. Lost or damaged goods may effect the level of refund you receive.

Used items: Please note this does not apply to used item unless they are deemed faulty.
