The small cyclone is an ideal windshield for the Schoeps Mini CMIT. The Mini CMIT fits perfectly inside the basket which maximises performance - up to -50dB WInd noise attenuation.

Schoeps Miniature Shotgun Microphone MiniCMIT

The shotgun microphone MiniCMIT offers the characteristics of a CMIT 5 in more compact form. The MiniCMIT, CMIT 5 and SuperCMIT (ch2) have identical frequency response curves. Furthermore, the MiniCMIT and CMIT 5 have circuitry with similar characteristics, such that the microphones can be interchanged without altering the sound.

The CMIT Series consists of three microphones:

• The MiniCMIT, which offers the characteristics of a CMIT in more compact form
• The CMIT 5, which was introduced in 2005 and has since become a standard in its class
• The SuperCMIT, which achieves maximal directivity across a wide frequency range by means of intelligent digital algorithms

All three SCHOEPS CMIT microphones use the same interference tube/capsule, prized around the world for its extraordinarily high sound quality:

• High directivity combined with minimal coloration of off-axis sound
• Smooth directional patterns, even in the part of the range where the pattern is narrower; voices sound natural both on and off axis
• Sound quality remains unaltered even if the microphone isn‘t aimed precisely

Rycote Cyclone Windshield Kit - Small (XLR)

The Cyclone Windshield Kit Small is suitable for shotgun microphones such as the Neuman KM100, Sennheiser MKH 8050, MKH 50 and the Schoeps CCM Series. And other microphones with similar lengths.

The Cyclone features a durable, lightweight design, category leading wind and shock isolation performance, with the same overall mass yet lighter in weight than modular windshield designs.

Suspension

The Cyclone introduces a unique “multi-suspension” design that provides complete isolation against handling noise and cable-borne noises, and windshield basket self-noise. In addition to the outstanding shock protection provided by the patented Rycote Lyre suspension webs, shock performance is further enhanced by the new Rycote Floating-Basket Suspension with Lyre® Technology (patent pending). This basket suspension provides a unique isolation barrier between the windshield basket and suspension that inhibits noise and vibration induced by the windshield itself from being mechanically transmitted to the primary suspension.

Windshield

The two-piece Z-Locking design magnetically affixes the basket around the microphone for instant and secure attachment to or detachment from the suspension. Increased transparency is achieved due to the cone-like shape, which vastly reduces reflective parallel surfaces and “room effect”. With the same overall mass, the unique, design shifts the overall bulk to the basket front for superior wind-noise reduction exceeding modular-style windshield / windjammer combined performance.
In addition to the shape and structure of the Cyclone, 3D-Tex® covers the windshield exterior. This durable material combines excellent acoustic transparency with superb attenuation of wind noise.

Delivery Times

Delivery times are based on when the packages leaves our premises. Sometimes, due to stock restrictions or a non completed order, delivery may take longer as there is a delay with dispatch. Returns & Refunds

New items: You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason, at any time within 7 working days of receipt, for a full refund or for an exchange for a different product from our range. The cost of returning goods to us shall be borne by you, the customer, in all circumstances without exception.

Items must be packed suitably and insured for full loss in the event of a delivery problem. Pinknoise Systems will not be responsible for lost or damaged return goods. Lost or damaged goods may effect the level of refund you receive.

Used items: Please note this does not apply to used item unless they are deemed faulty.
